Cosmetic surgeries at the head
Unpleasant deformations of, for example, the nose, the ears or the face can exist from birth or they can be traumatically caused by injuries. Apart from the cosmetic disadvantage, such deformations also often lead to functional disorders like for example difficulties in respiration through the nose. A cosmetic surgery at the head is, therefore, not only meant to fulfil beauty ideals, such plastic surgeries also have to be carried out with respect to the function of the organ operated.
By means of acquired additional qualifications, ENT-specialists combine their knowledge of the function of the organs with the rules of cosmetic surgery and rehabilitative surgery in the area of head and neck. The costs of such an operation are often lower than generally estimated.
